Winston weighs about six pounds and loves to take long walks and go places. However, he gets frightened in crowds. Placing him in the pack makes him feel much more secure. He enjoys meeting everyone eye to eye insead of looking at the feet that might step on him. I have worn the pack comfortably for hours at festivals and the farmers market. It is necessary to pull all of the straps, including the waist strap, as tight as possible to avoid back strain.
