I have two large boxer dogs. My male dog is a beast! We used to lock them in the bathroom when we left the house (he would dig under the fence and get out when we left him outside) while in the bathroom for 39 minutes, he chewed his way out through the bathroom door. Yup, a hole in the door about 2 feet wide and 2 feet high. He also dug through my bathroom floor and tried eating his way out through the wall. Finally I got tired of him getting out and tearing apart my house and was tempted to give him away. So I bought this kennel with doubts. But my boyfriend and brother put it together in about 3 hours. We used a little extra wire just in case and dug a trench about 3 inches deep and 4 inches wide and set the cage in it. We also took a few links from the roll of chain link it came with off, just to make the fence stronger around the cage. This is the FIRST thing to hold my demon dog in. If it is "Mac Proof" (my demon dog) it is strong enough for any dog.

This product is very flemsy! The chainlink was all tangled up at the bottom and coming loose. I had to purchase additional products to make it work for the purpose I bought it, and didn't have time to return it for a refund or exchange. I needed a kennel for my dogs so I could put my house on the market. After $100.00 worth of new products I was able to make it work. My three dogs do fine inside but they are older and less active. I do not recommend this product! The old saying is very true, " You get what you pay for." Spend a little more and get something sturdy and worth your time and money!

I assmebled myself with help from my son. You need two people. The fencing was a little harder to install than expected. It took about 2 hours total. It is a perfect size for our dog who will be one year in June. Now we hope she gets used to it but should have no problem since she loves to be outside. Also, a great size for the money we paid.

The instructions were pretty explicit but you need to add that the chains roll. After I wrapped the fence around the poles I found that the rows were not even because some of the chains came undone and twisted. My sister said the chain link fence she purchased addressed this problem. You need to say something about this in the instructions. Other wise it was pretty easy to put together.

Some of the chain link was bent and we had to fix it and some of the spots weren't even connected. It was easy to assemble.

The unit was easy to assemble but the fencing is very flimsy. I have a yellow lab and the dog easily destroyed the fence and escaped. The hooks that secure the fence to the poles should be welded on. If you don't crush them to stay on they fall off.
