I ordered this exercise pen to help housebreak my puppy. I put her in it each time we go out and now she knows what she's supposed to do. The pen came quickly, is well built, and most importantly has ground stakes to keep it in place. As far as exercise goes, it's really too small unless you set it up to be one panel wide at each end which would make it 2' x 6', still small for anything but a very small dog. It is light weight and I would think easily moved about if you were to use it on the floor inside. I know my 9 week old Corgi could slide it around once she found it moved when she pushed at it. It will be perfect to use at dog shows as a large 'crate' area between classes especially if joined to another one.

multi-panel design is easy to arrange whether to block off the stairs or to confine our chihuahua in a particular area. the joints seem a little flimsy and almost suggest an option to separate sections (which would be great) but suspect that having stronger and separable joints means more $$. vertical bars and bottom horizontal bar have enough metal sharpness that can scratch floors if not completely lifted when re-arranging (how about two short padded "feet/extensions" per panel?). clips are helpful, but not big enough to hold together several (folded) sections. kept the box for convenient way of transporting unit outside of home. haven't used it outside yet so the stakes are untested. overall, a good product for the cost. thanks.

This is just what I needed for my yorkie puppy! Works great for containing her when I'm not home, to assist with potty training, etc. It's bigger than I expected and I've only used it indoors but I have the intentions of using it as an outdoor play area within the next week!
