I had to buy a dog house door that was pretty close, and then re-build it myself to make it fit. Good thing I can, but that's just wrong. There was also no dog bed that fit this house properly, so I got one that "sort of" fits. This model should come with a door that fits and a bed that fits, duh!

The product arrived within 2-3 days after placing the order. The assembly was very easy, my 16-year old put it together in less than 30 minutes. The quality is great and it complements my backyard very well.

This is a nice looking dog house and was pretty easy to put together. The instructions sheet states you only need a screwdriver but I found that we had a lot more success by using a drill to attach the screws on the roof. The instructions were easy to follow and it didn't take long to assemble. One of the pieces of white trim along the roof was completely cracked in half so I called Hayneedle and was issued a credit for a portion of the purchase. Some of the other pieces are a little chipped which is disappointing since it's a brand new item, but considering the low cost of this dog house and the fact that my dog/the weather will probably do more damage to it, I'm not too concerned. My dog is a Boxer/Shepherd mix who is currently 32lbs, and he fits comfortably with lots of room to move around (even with his neutering cone around his neck he was able to get through the entrance). I'm a little worried about the wood flooring on the inside scraping up my dog's paws or giving him splinters because they're not that smooth, so I plan on putting down an old rug. I really like that the doghouse is raised off the ground to keep it a little cleaner. The house is lightweight enough to be moved around easily after assembled, but it's sturdy enough that it's not being knocked around by the strong winds we're experiencing right now. I also wish there was a door or flap to keep my dog protected from the weather.

This doghouse is excellent and indeed VERY easy to assemble. I vowed never to buy another thing that required assembly some time back but took a chance and I am SO glad!! Very well built, nice materials, easy to put together. My German Shepherd fits inside the Large beautifully.

This home is great. The price was good. The quality is excellent. It only took me about 1 hr to put both houses together. I was shocked at how easy it was!My dogs are totally spoilt!
