I bought two of these, first one took a little longer to put together but once I figured the set up, second one was up in about 20mins. I have a 60lb Siberian husky and 80lb blk lab, Husky has been inside and can turn around, lab is an old guy and not used to the flaps but I think once I get him to understand he can go through it'll be his faveroite place. Only had one part that was damaged, but it is mostly for decoration so not a major issue. All holes allign just right, make sure when constructing the dog house that it is on completely even ground, since the holes are pre-drilled very minute shift makes it harder to input the screws.
Wish the flap holes were predrilled, but easy enough to do. As long as you have an 1/16" drill head.

2. very Light weight....expected heavier duty wood for a dog house...
3. Flooring is uneven....comes in 2 pieces but doesnt line up properly, so one side is higher than other... and be careful
the edges break very easily...
4. Interior size is 25x28...(big disappointment)
I bought these to house juvenile chickens....which would be set inside a large covered pen...
5. you definately want to stain and seal the wood...to protect it from the weather..
I would not buy for a large dog ... or an area with alot of rain or snow...
I would buy for medium size dog for shelter from the sun in summertime...if they lowered the price...
I will keep them...because it's to much trouble to ship back
and I don't want to pay for shipping...
The only thing I liked was the appearance...It's cute...

It was small and missing pieces. When I ordered it I explained the weight Of my dogs and I was told they would fit and they could not make it through the door.

This dog house looks great, but the quality isn't as good as it looks. I also think its a little small for a large dog. My dog also has chewed through some of the porch in a matter of days.
