Very impressed with the product. As a home builder, I was worried about the "house in a box" concept as I had planned to build dog house from scratch. Had heard complaints about other packaged dog houses. Forget those worries this product will last. Dog house took longer to get parts out of box than to assemble. Very easy, good directions, parts make good positive connection....One problem. Could not keep our 65 lb. red tick hound out of house while putting together. Nearly had to carry house and dog together to dog yard. House perfect size for 50-85 pound dog. Good product...would recommend to all who ask....

For the price, this is a pretty solid dog house and easy to assemble. I was happy that the dog house included a door flap, but it doesn't work very well. Overall, I would say it's a good value for what I got. I ordered a small for my 20 pound dog. I would recommend going up a size.

I must have gotten a lemon, but this thing was unfortunately a mess. The brackets that hold up the floor support had both snapped off, a pin for holding one of the walls in place was missing, a hole that makes use of a pressure fitting was drilled too wide so the fitting was useless, and one of the end pieces for the roof was damaged and can't be snapped in place. It is tempting to blame this on handling during delivery except that some of the pieces broken off of the brackets were not in the box, leading me to believe that this happened before it was packed. The precision of the connector locations was also fairly poor, so the front panels didn't quite sit in the side supports properly. All in all a mess.

Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was prompt, but the product was badly damaged.

Hayneedle customer support has been fantastic, and their response to this issue I give 5 stars. I sent them a picture of the broken parts the day I received the doghouse, and they got back to me in a day saying that those parts can't be replaced, and that they were refunding my purchase price in total. Any company who stands behind their merchandise to that extent deserves a lot of credit.

I have called the supplier who has promised to replace 3 defective parts; hope they follow-through; as of now, I'm unsatisfied with this product ... and it wasn't cheap!
