After my son put it together, he showed me a crack going all the way across the Roof Ridge Cap. There was also a big chip missing in the same piece. When I called Customer Service to see if I could get a replacement part, they told me that the only option was to request a completely new dog house and just use the part I needed and return the rest or get a discount (about 20%). After running a hose on the roof to make sure no water got in, I took the discount. I wonder if the dog house I got was the result of someone putting the defective Roof Ridge Cap part back. Also the bottom slats seem pretty flimsy and wouldn't seem very comfortable due to the spaces between the slats. I would say that the design is attractive except for the crack on the top and the chip missing.
Now all I have to do is get my dog to go into it, which hasn't been easy so far.

With rain in the forecast and two ornery cats in the house, my husband and I needed a dog house quickly!!! We looked everywhere locally. The options either weren't right for us, or they were out of our price range! Then we found this website!
The package arrived a day ahead of an already speedy delivery. The house assembled perfectly and is sturdier than expected! It really looks great! We are so pleased!

I purchased two dog houses, one small and one extra large. The small one was recieved undamaged while the extra large one the packaging did not hold up well and there were damaged pieces. The difference in the weight between the two, seeing that they were in identical packaging, was probably the problem.
