We actually bought this dog house to put up against an inside/outside pet door that the former home owners had installed next to our sliding glass patio door. I have two indoor cats that use a litter box. This dog house with it's side offset door and slanted lifting roof is perfect for this purpose. It has the best smell of wood, and the floor just snaps into place so you can lift it out to hose it off! Its quality is terrific for outdoors. I'm sure it will last a long time! I bought two; one for my brother's house.

This was extremely easy to put together. I had no problems at all. Now it is a bit flimsy (I have a german shepherd puppy who is almost 3 months old) but I think it will be alright. I like things that are more sturdy, that you KNOW arent going to break. This when moving it 'moves' when it is being moved, if that makes any sence. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it has a slanted design to it. You really can not tell in the picture, but is is slanted & you have to find a good spot to put it where it will sit level. My dog hasn't gone in it yet(but its been really cold so he has been inside), it did rain the other day & I looked inside it & it was dry everywhere except for maybe 4 inches inside the entrance, maybe they have a door? All in all its all right, would of liked it to be more sturdy for the money though.

had this dog house for 5 months without the cooling bed my 9 month old female german shepherd have pulled and chewed the front end off instead of 4 sides its just 3 sides now but it did stay dry when it rained so thats why i gave it 2 stars instead of 1

I'm getting a new puppy next week, I hope she likes her new house. Of course I bought the large one, but I think an English Mastiff will grow into it quickly. The house was easy to assemble and looks fantastic!
