I bought 2 of these gates to keep my puppy out of certain areas. It keeps my puppy from going where she is not supposed to and I am able to walk across the gate without falling.

The color of the product on the Internet is very deceiving. Not anyway near the same color as the product.

I am a Certified Veterinary Technician, and use this product as a stairway gate. We have a new French Bulldog pup, and this keeps him on the main level of the house, making housebreaking easier! It is an attractive gate and blends well with our hickory, hardwood floors. The feet can pivot, which makes fitting it to the stairway opening easier. We have three Frenchies in all, and they respect the barrier!

I was hemming and hawing about this dog gate because it is only 20" high, which is the only negative - and I was worried that my 32 lb., 4 month old pup might grow, or be a jumper, but she respects the gate. I chose it because it was the right length (72") for two wide entrances in our beautiful new house, and I did not want to sacrifice on looks. These gates look very unobtrusive. I also didn't want to have to put screws or holes in any of the doorways, and these gates are freestanding, easy to assemble, and easy to transport. We are very pleased we don't have to worry about the living room and dining room anymore, and it doesn't look like a kennel or a baby nursery.
