This is a replacement for your single flat door which I went with "cheap" on. A dog terrified of thunder tore into it (while closed off) to get in. This door is the same size but with the double flaps. I had it raised to accommodate the snow levels and a greyhound since they can't stoop down - and added a ramp for my gimpy gal - so my dogs and cat can now be safe and dry. With a little help they all managed to ajust nicely. Love this secure door and so worth the little extra money.

For my first order with Hayneedle I as disappointed. I live in the country so I do most of my purchases on line. Now I need to return the broken dog door which means I need to try and repair the original shipping box, call FEDEX to schedule a pick up and pay the return postage.

Instructions were easy to follow and template guides worked very well. Had it installed within one hour!
The door comes complete but if you have a brick wall it isn't really deep enough. The door still works, it just doesn't meet and there is a gap that has to be filled with something like a board (that's what worked for me)
Also no sealing material comes for the outside door, you will have to pick that up on your own . It is mostly plastic with an aluminum frame.
I would have no problem purchasing this product again, it is constructed well and very easy to install.

This is easy for flat walls with narrow studs. It is very light and you need to fortify the tunnel walk way. I used wall board & styrofoam and carpeted it. The really dumb thing about it(engineering) is that at the corners it flair out instead of straight into the frame, like little bubbles about an inch long so you have to flair out the corners and then go back and caulk them if you want a tight seal. I suggest using flat head screws to screw the tunnel down and around the side walls. Still it's easy but I think it did cost too much for what you get. Maybe 50 to 75 dollars is a fair price not the [$] I paid.

This is a well made product that performs exactly as advertised. It was relatively easy to install, looks attractive,is efficient insulating the outside cold/heat, and our animals use it. In our current world of frequent false advertising, this product is the real thing!
