This crate is difficulty to assemble. It looks good all painted in a Mahogany stain, but my 5 month old Boxer puppy easily chewed & shredded the window slats in the front door from the inside. It needs to be made of a harder wood than poplar. Also the crate is too short for a Boxer. It bends his cropped ear tips when my pup stands and he's not even full grown. Since it's too difficult to take apart and return it, I gave it away to a toy dog owner friend of mine.

This is a lovely piece and I'm glad I spent the money on it. It actually improves the look of my family room. However, I have the battle scars to show that I put it together. It was very difficult to get the screws in properly and line up all the grooves of the sides. An electric screwdriver is probably a must tool for assembly (and I didn't have one!)
