This dog crate is great! Except that when assembled it's too large to fit in the car. Maybe I should have gotten a smaller size. I got the medium sized crate and it was HUGE.

the kennel is just what we wanted as we travel quite a bit, only thing is, need to unzip door before giving the "go to bed" command.

This is a good enough crate if your dog is gentle on crates. It's easy to assemble (which, after my last crate, is a relief). It doesn't feel super-durable. It's not flimsy, but I wouldn't consider it tough either.

I have a 10 month old Bullmastiff so I bought the larger size for her (its similar to her regular metal crate) to have a lightweight travel version for her to rest in while visiting family or at obedience/agility trials. It was easy to put together and fit nicely in my car- but the mesh tore on the door within minutes. My pup never struggles in her crates and has been in other travel crates before- she just leaned against the door. I tried a duct-tape patch (duct tape saves the world) and the mesh just continued to tear around it. Impractical and worthless create.
