    My old pet taxi left dents in my car interior if I had it touching anything. Hence, I wanted more of a soft-sided carrier. I use this to haul my 2 cats on trips and they not only love riding in it, but also want to sleep in it (or on it) when we get back home. I keep all the vents rolled up so they are zipped securely in, but can still see out all the sides and have plenty of ventliation. Also, the lower side handles work great to seatbelt the carrier. I was really impressed with the quality and highly recommend this carrier.

    When putting the bars in place the top front of the crate tore. After 4 uses our 4 month old puppy managed to chew the zipper and get out while we were not home. ...Read complete review

    When putting the bars in place the top front of the crate tore. After 4 uses our 4 month old puppy managed to chew the zipper and get out while we were not home. Fortunetly, the power cord he chewed through didn't start a fire, but not sure if it shocked him. I was very disappointed in this product, but feel it can't be returned at this point...just a waste of my money. It may be good for an older dog.

      Bought this for an upcoming dog trial so I can walk the rally course without my German Shepherd Dog (GSD). Haven't taken it to the trial yet, but I was extremely pleased with how quickly it arrived (three days) and it's construction. Very easy to assemble and I didn't find the metal supports or plastic closure a problem at all. Seems very well made, and hopefully will withstand my 65 pound dog's exuberant behavior. I'm a little worried about the mesh windows holding up, but time will tell.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            The Remington Kennel is easy to assembly and very well made. Canvas is durable. Roomy interior. More so than other kennels I have used which tapper down from where the kennel attaches. This Kennel has more floor space and with the added pad, my dog is loving it.
