      My 5 month old puppy has a sturdy, comfortable, & spacious place to call her own. Once she had her familiar bedding tucked inside, she hunkered down for a good night's sleep. When she has to be left home alone, she & my home are safe & secure. She quickly outgrew her first conventional wire crate & this is exactly what she needs now.         We got this item for travel with our new Greater Swiss Mountain dog puppy. I was very pleased with how easy it set up (especially since the directions were inside and only found after setup) My puppy, crate trained in a much smaller hard plastic crate adapted to this immediately. My one problem is that the cat also likes it and tried to claim it within minutes of set up. I am also a bit concerned about the strength of the zippers for those times when we need the dog to stay in the crate. We will use it when we are out of the house for vacation, weddings, etc.

        Well made, Will be used for a puppy initially and then as she grows when we travel south in the winter and in our condo. This kennel will be on our second floor while we use a traditional crate on the first floor. No shipping fee also influenced my purchasing this kennel.
