    We wanted a crate to house our rather active German Shepherd. The crate is large enough for her to move around freely and to stretch out when she is sleeping. We needed something strong enough to withstand her attempts to break out when we are not home. This crate has done a great job. It was easy to put together. The tray is nice and heavy.I particularly like the way the rubber feet keep it from sliding across the floor when she jumps against the door. The door latches hold well against her jumping.

    The crate was as described but it seems a little more lightweight and isn't as stable as I thought it would be. Was not impressed with the latches if the dog paws the gate they could pop open. Had to modify. Otherwise, it is a very big crate with lots of room to move.

    What I especially like about this particular crate is the latch, it has the curved edge which keeps my dog from being able to open it, the one that have the straight latch can be manuvered if they keep pushing and trying to escape.

      This is the second Deluxe crate I have purchased. It arrived super fast and is as excellent as the first. I love that it has THREE doors! Makes it super easy no matter where you decide to put it. Also the doors are removable which is a great feature. LOVE IT!

            I needed a strong crate for my APBT, all I can say after having ordered(and canceled given a back-order)from a big time pet store is they have to learn from hayneedle. I got it in three and a half business days to socal, easy to assemble, and well worth the price compared to everyone one else. Now to see how long it holds up, given the reviews I should not worry. Thanks hayneedle!

              This is a well-built crate that is holding up nicely with our large lab. She escaped from her last crate several times by bouncing and pawing at the handle until it opened. The double latch on this door makes that impossible.
