I bought this based on the review I read and can only say ditto!
My shepherd/lab mix chewed and partially ate 2 dog beds and an old quilt before I took my chances on this bed. She instantly fell in love and treats it as though it is gold. No attempt to chew on it at all. At this moment she is on her back with her legs in the air dreaming doggy dreams on her new bed.

Was sad to come home and find all the fluff taken out of both beds the second day the pups had them :(
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have an 8 month German Shepard that love to chew...need I say more. Everything I have given him to lay on has been shredded. I needed something large enough and chew resistant and my Max loves this bed.
I put it in his house at night and he takes it out in the morning for to lay in the sun.
He values it and I know he does because he does not grab and shake it like he does when ripping everything else.
Highly recommended!!!
