I purchased this for my 10year old Large Breed dog who has had knee surgeries in the past. Since it arrived on the weekend he went right to it. He no longer is up and down at night and he is not slow moving in the mornings. He had been using a memory foam bed. He uses it outside on the porch as well. I purchased two of them. It is a great buy for our boy. It is easy to inflate using a pump we already had for air beds. It comes with a device to assist you in inflating it and it works great with the pumps you generally get with human air beds.

The little border collies love this bed. I am afraid they might chew a hole in it but it hasn't happened yet. The cats love it. Adult dogs are skeptical about it. They don"t spend much time on it. Very soft and feels comfortable to me. :-)

Our boxer now prefers this to the couch.
A couple of elastic cross straps on the bottom would be a nice addition.
