Description

Breeders, pet owners and veterinarians have been using Lecto-Kennels to warm pets for more than 30 years. A Lectro-Kennel is ideal for use in a kennel, dog house, garage, basement, clinic, or anywhere extra warmth is desired. An internal thermostat keeps the temperature at a desirable 102 degrees when in use. Constructed of rugged ABS plastic with a steel wrapped cord, the Lectro-Kennel can lie flat on the dog house floor.

I bought this for my son's dog. He loved it! Unfortunately, he chewed up the cover; but I was able to get some spray from the pet store that discourages this and will get him another cover. He LOVES this pad!!!!!

Comments about Lectro-Kennel Heated Dog Bed:

Bought this for use with my new Outback Extreme houses. It is hard plastic and gets warm but I think it is probably uncomfortable. Animals know the difference between a soft spot to lay and a hard one...and this is hard. I like that it is warm but the cover is cheap. I am glad I did not buy extra covers because they are not worth the money. The cover is only on the top side and is held in place at each corner with an elastic strap. If used outside the cover ends up coming off immediately because of the dog moving around inside the box. I also have one inside and my dogs does lay on it because she likes the additional warmth as she is old. But given the chance to curl up on her favortie quilt or the heating pad....she will chose the quilt.
