Cali's 50lbs and approx 34" long. We bought a Large and she has plenty of room to stretch out. Haven't had any problem with washing it and easy to vacuum every now 'n' then. A little more than what I would've liked to pay for a dog bed but it was worth every penny. Took her a day or two to get used to it, but she sleeps in it all the time now instead of our bed.

I'm glad I went with the XL. There will be room for Shadow to stretch out. He is already 89 lbs and not even 2 yrs old yet. Just took it out of the box and he seems to like it. Don't know how dirty it will get and my dog is black but will just have to vaccum and wash it.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I did a ton of research. I wanted a bed with sides like a couch to get my dog off of our couch. So far, this has been a great purchase. Definitely the best price that I found anywhere. I don't know how it will hold up, but the size is perfect. I ordered large for a 55 pound golden doodle. She loves to put her head on the bolsters. Immediately curled up and knew that it was for her :)

I am very pleased with our purchase of the Caddis Beasley's Couch Dog Bed. It arrived quicker than what was estimated when I ordered it. It is a well made bed. We got the solid tan bed. It feels like upholstery material, so I don't think it will wear out any time soon. I was also very pleased with the price and free shipping we got at Hayneedle too.

We have always used these dog beds and have never had a problem.
I only wish I could find it in different colors. We like that it is easy to

I'm some what dismayed with the bed. The bed is rolled up and shipped in a smaller box. After unrolling and allowing the bed to come to size, the foam is uneven in it's shape. The middle portion kept its shape where as the rest is flattened. It is also not as "thick" as you see. The side bolsters are very large and consumes a lot of the bed. My large breed can lay on it but stretching out on it means his head or legs are off the bed. The size of the entire bed is quite large though and takes up a lot of space in your room. I think for the price, it's not a good buy.
