Very sturdy when put up against a bed. My 75# older Vizsla can now use it on her own - had to train her 4-5 times until she wasn't afraid anymore. The only thing I don't like is that the padding is not to the edge of each step making it a little slippery if her paw catches the outside. Otherwise, my back loves it.

It took a few days to get our older dog to use them, but he will now try. The steps are narrow and are a little slick. If the treads were padded it would help.

I have an older dog. If she does not catch the carpeted area and her nails hit the plastic she slips off the side. I have ended having to help her up and down every time and she has fallen several times. I got the steps so I didn't have to do that. Steps that are fully carpeted would work much better

My 16 year old Cattle Dog could no longer jump into bed with me. With the Easy Step she can claim her rightful place without help from me.
