Dog palace and heater
We have to keep our pet in the garage, and it's well insultated. On really cold nights the heating pad keeps her sooo warm. She loves it!!!

We got this floor heater with "The Dog Palace", first used in the winter of 2010-2011. [I reviewed both the house (11/30/10) and heater (12/1/10) previously on this site.] While the pad does a pretty good job of giving off heat, it's shot after only 2 winters. The plastic covering is cracked from one end to the other, and though it still heats, I don't dare use it for fear of electrical shorting causing harm to the dog and/or fire danger. (This is a wear crack, NOT damage done by the dog chewing, etc.) The pad was removed from the house each spring and put back when the weather got cold in late fall/early winter, making a total of about 8-9 months actual use over the 2 winters we had it. I don't think that is acceptable and, therefore, retract my initial 5 star rating of this product.

I bought this heater for the ABS insulated Dog House to provide warmth for a feral cat. I was pleasantly surprised by its durability, a hard shell case and a cord which is covered with a very strong but flexible shell. Recieved personal phone call(!!!) from ABS when I ordered the large heater for the small dog house because ABS wanted me to know that Veterinarians do not recommend covering the entire bottom of the house because the animal would need to leave the protection of the house to get off of the heat. I called Hayneedle and they credited my bill for the difference...no problems. Very Pleased!!!

it says this product is recamended in below 20 degrees there is no way that this product will keep my dog warm in below twenty degrees weather i plugged this thing in for over three hours and it barely had any warmth what so ever,for almost a hundred dollars its a joke,and i will not buy nothing else concerning my pet from this web site
