The ERGO Auto Pet Feeder is a great way to help an overweight pet manage its diet. Designed for feeding pets at per-determined times of day and preset quantity of food, the Auto Pet Feeder is designed for dry food pellets in any shape. The unit consists of a storage container, a feeding bowl, and an eight-setting programmable digital timer. The digital timer can be programmed to feed pets up to eight times a day, all through the week and throughout the year. The unit can be programmed to release small quantities such 4 to 5 kibbles of food if necessary, which is convenient for feeding diabetic pets and pets with eating disorders. The large opening in the food store bin of the automatic pet feeder allows for easy filling. A flexible stainless tube sheath (coated with plastic) protects the power cord and prevents pets from chewing on the cord. The feed bowl can be easily removed and cleaned, as it is dishwasher-safe. Metal over molded self-lubricating nylon auger prevents jamming and provides a smoother and quieter performance. Slow dispensing of food prevents the food from piling up and also prevents the pets from eating too fast and suffering from indigestion and bloat. The feeder container and the base come pre-assembled. Available in small (5 pounds), medium (10 pounds), and large (20 pounds of food) sizes.
